PFR has obtained exclusive arrangements to finance, build and operate a group of independent power plants by teaming with local entities in the Far-East and in Latin America. PFR is providing assistance to major developers for power plants in the Far East and Latin America and particularly in the following countries:

The PFR Team in The Peoples Republic of China, PFR/Choate Development Company, has obtained the exclusive rights to a group of environmentally friendly power plants which total over 500 MW.

The Team has entered into joint ventures with local Chinese partners who will assist throughout the development, construction and operational phases. One 55MW project "in the fence" is being developed as a "mine mouth" power plant, using waste coal which receives a special priority by the State government.  The projects in Shaanxi Province will use Natural Gas fired in gas turbine based power plants.

The projects in the Western Province of Shaanxi and the Central Western Province of Henan are characterized as 20 year BOT Cooperative Joint Venture Projects.  The Projects are structured to insure the Team's U.S. partner maintains control throughout the development, construction and operation phases.

Other projects under development will use state-of-the-art technology converting energy from geothermal, biomass and solid waste, bio-gas and advanced clean combined cycle power plants.
