FURCRAK High Temperature Cracking Furnace Simulation Program
|
 |

|
FURCRAK is a rating program for the firebox sections of cracking
furnaces such as those used in Olefin and Ethylene Dichloride plants.
Based on user-supplied furnace geometry and process enthalpy curve, the
program calculates operating parameters such as firing rate, furnace
efficiency, tube wall temperatures, gas-and process-side temperature
profiles, heat duties and fluxes.
FURCRAK simulates most cracking furnace types such as Up, Down, Side Fired
and Combined Firing. It takes into account the burner firing pattern, tube
dimensions and layout.
FURCRAK runs in DOS operating systems and can be accessed via Windows 3.1
or 95.
