	A brief summary of PFR's history in providing thermal services follow:

PFR was founded in January 1972 to provide advanced thermal engineering services to the energy field. PFR's advanced computer technology has been licensed by over 100 world-wide multinational companies. This software analyzes complex fired heaters, furnaces and boilers, shell and tube and air cooled heat exchangers, and power plant and refinery heat exchangers of all types.  Each computer system is described in this document by linking below.

Using its knowledge of process engineering, heat transfer, fluid flow, combustion and thermodynamics as a basis, PFR pioneered work in the alternative energy field in the 1970's working as a consultant to government entities such as the EPA, ERDA, EPRI, DOE and the CEC.  The projects were state-of-the-art, encompassing solar, geothermal, methanol production from waste sources, power production from biomass and solid waste, bio-gas and advanced combined cycle power plants.

PFR continually widened its scope of activities during 1980-1995 for power plants as a result of the development of the cogeneration industry and the use of alternative energy sources.  In 1992 PFR began offering project development services including process designs which include the heat and mass balance, single line electrical diagrams, piping and instrument drawings, site layout and specifications for major equipment.  In 1994, a process design for a unique Organic Rankine Cycle Power Plant which also vaporized LNG was completed. Also included in the design was a pressure let down system which in total produced over 12 MW.

	Site Visits and Review of Proposed Sites.
	Evaluation of Bids and Proposed New Technology.

As an example of its services, PFR prepared the EPC Bid Documents for a 40 MW Rice Hulls fired plant located in the Philippines and assisted in evaluating and choosing the EPC contractor for the project.  This project is expected to enter construction in the third quarter in the year 2000.
